Fibre-Reinforced Polymer
FRP and GFRP reinforcement are an innovative solution to reinforcement in concrete. The main benefits of using FRP and GFRP are that they are lightweight and they do not corrode. Fida Restoration has been using GFRP reinforcing bars in many repairs whenever possible since 2021.
Fida Restoration is also an approved applicator of FRP reinforcement systems. FRP wraps and plates are very effective in restoring concrete strength and extending the useful life of a concrete structure. For clients who are new and curious of this repair method, we are able to complete in-house engineering design to ensure the repair strategy is effective.
