The owner of the building had several outstanding orders from Toronto Hydro to repair their hydro vault and bring it up to standards. Fida Restoration was engaged to perform a wide array of repairs in the vault including extensive concrete repairs, new removeable slabs, new access hatch including enclosure, ladder, and grates, waterproofing, asbestos removal, and minor electrical upgrades. This project required great attention to detail to follow strict standards for construction in a hydro vault while all equipment remain operational. Fida Restoration also completed engineered shop drawings for the concrete repairs, new removeable slabs, and new structural steel installation (access hatch).
